Jeremy D. Krones
I am from Frederick County, Maryland, but have lived in the American West for more than a decade. I went to the University of Maryland in College Park (BA-Anthropology '13) and over the years have been able to call myself a farmer, forest ranger, cowboy, and rancher. Through it all I’ve also helped build community through hands-on volunteering and board service. From 2015-2018 I managed a collaborative ranchland conservation group in Arizona called Diablo Trust, and in September 2018 I moved to Grand County, Colorado, where I was the executive director of Colorado Headwaters Land Trust, a local land trust (at the headwaters of the Colorado River) for seven years. I live in a cabin in the Rocky Mountains with my cat, Broccoli “Broc,” and my dog, Cauliflower "Cauli."
I advocate for doing our part to making the world - and more specifically our communities - better places to live, work, and play for everyone.
